The port area of HaminaKotka Satama Ltd is secured by fences, gates and automatic access control. The Port area includes land areas administrated by the Port, which are owned or leased by various businesses and terminals.

Inside the port area all national and international regulations concerning work safety are to be followed, along with what HaminaKotka Satama Oy has specifically instructed on moving and working inside the Port area.

Businesses and terminals should make sure their staff, partners and subcontractors are aware of the regulations they should follow.

Moving inside the Port area should be done extra carefully at crossings, level crossings and working areas. Pedestrian, cycle and car traffic should only use specifically marked general routes. Parking is only allowed on sites marked with P-signs. The general speed limit on the Port’s roads is 40 km/h and at gates, 20 km/h.
